The Best Road Mutual Water Company is governed by a 4-member Board of Directors elected by the Best Road Mutual Water Company Membership to serve one-year terms. The Board conducts its regular meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. Location of the meetings is at 3570 Airline Highway, Hollister, CA (Sunnyslope County Water District Office). The agenda for the meetings are posted 48 hours in advance of the upcoming meeting. The previous months agenda minutes are also posted 48 hours in advance of the upcoming meeting. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The Best Road Mutual Water Company Board is committed to providing its Membership with the highest quality service in the most cost effective, reliable, and environmentally sensitive manner. The Board is also committed to providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service.
The Best Road Mutual Water Company operates as a Mutual Water Company to provide local service in accordance with the California State Water Code. The Best Road Mutual Water Company is responsible directly to the customers of its District. It is not an arm of the federal, county or city governments or other water agencies.
Your Board of Directors sets policies and ordinances for the Best Road Mutual Water Company and its Membership on the basis of facts and the best interests of its Membership, and not on opinions or political considerations.
Costs are directly tied to providing service. Fees and rates for water, are directly tied to the cost for providing water rather than being funded to unrelated functions. Best Road Mutual Water Company members can have confidence knowing their dollars are being used to maintain a good quality, reliable water supply.
